Payment Not Required
We begin with a consultation with the goal of ensuring we’re a good fit. No payment is required for this step. During this initial consultation, we assess our fit for your project vision, going over your needs and wants, wish list, budget, timeline, and other considerations. If we mutually agree to move ahead with your project, the next step is a site visit where we can go more in-depth into the possibilities as well as any potential challenges.
Consultation & Site Visit
Payment Not Required
The next step is the site visit and consultation, where we gather essential site information. We’ll take note of existing structures, trees, and other obstacles; site grades; and the privacy and views. Here, we’ll discuss your vision in-depth so that we fully understand your aesthetic vision, lifestyle needs and preferences, and any challenges. Should you wish to proceed to the design phase, we will then assess a design fee (typically a percentage of the project cost).
Design and Scope of Work
Payment Required
The design phase includes another site visit, survey, utility location, and the legwork to ensure your project meets zoning and other regulations. Based on this and the project details, we develop a site plan and 3D model. This process may require several drafts before you receive a final plan and proposal including the scope of work (what we agree to do, the cost of materials and labor, and timeline). Upon signing the contract, we’re ready to begin building your project!
Build
Payment Required
Next, we move into the most exciting part of the project as we prepare your landscape for its transformation. First, we’ll perform any excavating and grading necessary. Then, we’ll construct your hardscape features before finishing up with plantings and hydroseeding, if that’s on the agenda. Throughout each phase, your Project Manager will be on hand to oversee the work, answer any questions, problem-solve, and keep the project moving along. Soon, your project will be complete!
Follow Up
Payment Required
As the build phase comes to a close, you will receive relevant warranty information and maintenance instructions. Our team will restore your landscape and repair any damage caused by the construction process. We will leave your landscape looking better than we found it. We’ll be there for you after the project is complete with ongoing support—we want you just as happy decades from now as on the day you first set foot on your newly transformed landscape!
